Installing R and RStudio
This lesson readings and video demonstrations that focus on installing R and the RStudio Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Download the install R and RStudio -- it runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux. After installation, view the tutorial video and then follow creating a few simple scripts to ensure that R and RStudio are properly installed.

Sign in to Lynda Online Training by going to lynda.northeastern.edu or from Blackboard. Log on with your myNEU username and password. Note that file-->save saves an .R file. This contains only the code from your session. This is what you submit for an assignment. session -->save workspace saves your running environment. Your running environment consists of any objects and functions you have used or created during that session.
